Placement is like shit, and Constipation is a major problem...

Good looking girl, girl, acquaintance with Placement committee, good looking boy, Jack, acads, knowledge and relevant work ex...errr…in that order.

Rightly said lakx, Even I don't want to have this outlook. I never wanted to write all this...but it was with great pain that I wrote what I felt so badly. I would be more than happy to be proved wrong.
ReplyDeletewell, great writing. I can understand from where it is coming from..But dude, i have come to accept this fact now. If it was a phd placement there is no doubt that tha arguments are valid. But, unfortunately it is not. Lets see the order of preference. Good lookiing girl: ofcourse a good looking girl if she can be a great asset in a bussiness as a manager, for BD, and to keep high the employee moral under her

Then comes acquaintance with employer: yeah of course that helps.For an employer, even though you are worth thousand birds in the bush he would like to have the one bird he knows is on his hand.(The use of birds was unintentional).
And finally, looks is all that he can see in an interview for 5 minutes. Substance is what matters but it can be only judged over a perid of time. And, if the miss universe he hires is not worth a dime to his business he can always marry her and hire you later.
